Ventrilo or Teamspeak

Last night was our first linkshell event almost done entirely on ventrilo. I don't know about everyone else but I enjoyed myself quite a bit. I think voice communication added to the event in a very positive way and hoping more people jump off the shy wagon and join up or at least give it a try. Any thoughts or opinions about last night from those involved.

Yeah, that was fun. I think I may exchange my headset though if it keeps being a pain.

heh, ya i enjoyed myself. It was neat to put a voice to the people first off, then it just made the event more enjoyable altogether. My mic (pretty much all it is) is a piece of junk though, so I'll have to get a better one at some point. Overall, good call on it though.

I think so too, I'd like to see more people buy into the idea and start making it an ongoing thing.

Sorry for not thinking of this sooner, but I am able to run a Ventrilo server on the same computer that's running the website. I don't know if the speed or reliability would be sufficient for our needs, but it's worth thinking about.

We can try it out later if you'd like.

My plan is to start recruiting more members for our Lineage 2 clan and will most likely be using more of the bandwidth thats available. Plus if any of you switched you're more than welcome in the clan after a trial run jk
