The Bounding Boots are amazingly good. Especially for thieves and rangers. I'll probably camp this at some point. Probably after I hit 45.

Just realized the Wing Boots are slightly better and craftable, so maybe I won't focus on this one as soon. We'll see.

Whatever you decide. You know I'll help if not otherwise engaged in something else at the time. And if its not of much importance like partying I usually will drop what I'm doing to help. Have you looked into the stats on your thief AF's yet aside from the knife? I know my blm AF are amazingly good and well suited for any black mage.

I haven't really looked at the AF gear yet. I know one of them has Steal +1 which is really nice. I don't really foresee reaching level 50 anytime soon though unless I get really really lucky with NM camping.

I just realized the craftable version is crafted from the NM version so this guy jumps back up to the top of my list of NMs to kill right after the Emperor.

Spent about four hours on this yesterday with no claims and no drops from the two people that did claim it. The second pop took almost three and a half hours.

Very important update! Well first I am 0/4 now, but more importantly I have figured out the pattern with Widescan. There were about twenty minutes where I was all alone and I noticed a couple things that were surprising. I'll let you know about it online. This should really help us out. I put my theories to work and was able to claim him twice in a row. (Of course there is still some luck required.) No theories on how to make him drop yet...

I'm gettin a little hooked to melee as rdm and as odd as this sounds...these boots would help out my rdm as well at early levels before a rdm role is changed to enfeebler/refresher from earlier ideals of enfeebler/melee. The hairpin would be nice but also ridiculous to hunt.
