The World is Coming to an End...

SE has felled the once-mighty Unicorn server. Our death knell has sounded. Unicorn will bellow its final throes exactly two weeks from today, and then will vanish into thin air and cease to exist.

What does this mean for the Wandering Soulz? Should we remake the shell? Should someone new hold the shell this time? Should we let it fade away along with our once magnificent server leaving nothing but the wonderful memories in our hearts and in our minds?

I would really like to see us remake the original "WanderingSouls" personally, since we weren't able to reform that one. The biggest task is getting the pearls to everyone who wants one without being able to contact them as easily. I'm up for taking down names of everyone so that we can transition easier.

Essentially just from looking at the Beta LS site, I have a list of names (some inactive but still nice to take the names down). This isn't comprehensive being not everyone is signed up on the Beta, but it's a starting point.

I'm for remaking it. Why not? Unless anyone knows an LS on Fenrir that we can all join. You could always make a few of us Sackholders until we get everyone back on it.

As for leaders, I would propose either Claq or Aelf since they are the main 2 people that I see on the shell the most, besides Seph atm .

Either WanderingSoulz or WanderingSouls is cool with me. I would slightly prefer that Aelfwise hold the shell this time because it was basically a dice roll when I created it after Piraya left, and I'd like to give him a turn. I think we both have similar personalities and temperaments, so I don't think anyone would mind either way.

Also, I came up with a few more part time members that might appreciate a new pearl:
Chicora, Woozle, Snowwhite, and Diesal.

Does Snow still play? I haven't seen her in forever. I'm cool with Aelf leading the way. It doesn't really matter to me, to be honest. Any of you guys/gals would be good.

I guess I can put my app up for being the shell holder. I think I'm gonna get out of the event business, cause most of abyssea can be low-manned fairly easily, meaning I'd have more time to just play around on the shell.

Lately I haven't been on, taking a break from events, and before then lolbrogames was keeping me away with all their events anyways, but like I said, I'm considering leaving lolbrogames as an events shell.

I wouldn't have a problem with Jerik being the shell holder. Here are a couple arguments for him:

1. He's one of our most senior members.
2. He has no past history of split personalities.
3. He volunteered.

I'll try to survey some of the other members who haven't weighed in here for their thoughts.

All joking aside, I think Jerik would do a good job as well. He would have my backing if he wants to do it. I would still offer myself but my schedule has been a bit erratic recently so I wouldn't want that to impact things.

I wouldn't mind a pearl again when we change servers. Due to rl, I haven't been only much the past few months...actually the past year, but after I go to closing on this condo, I might have more time. Anyway, would be nice to hop on the ls every now and then to say hi.
